Warranty/Return Policy
All Tactile Robotics products are guaranteed to meet the specifications listed in our catalog. Should a Tactile Robotics branded product fail to meet specifications during its warranty period, it shall be repaired or replaced at Tactile Robotics’ discretion.
• Warranty periods are listed on quotations for specific products; however, the products generally receive 1 year of warranty coverage from the date of shipment or installation.
• Repairs have different warranty periods.
• Chemicals and other consumables are warranted through their expiration date, or for 1 year from shipment if no expiration date is indicated.
• Non-Tactile Robotics branded products, such as computers and computer peripherals, are covered by the original equipment manufacturer's warranty.
• Warranties are not transferable from the original purchaser.
• Warranty coverage may be void if the product is moved outside of the country where the product was originally purchased.
• An optional extended warranty program is available.

Warranty Exclusion
The warranty of our products DOES NOT cover the following scenarios or circumstances:
• Misuse or mishandling: Any damage caused by improper use, mishandling, neglect, or failure to follow the provided instructions or guidelines is not covered by the warranty. It is essential to use our products as intended and take proper care of them.
• Unauthorized modifications: Any unauthorized modifications, repairs, or alterations performed on our products will void the warranty. Altering the electronic components including sensors in any way may compromise their performance and reliability.
• Accidental damage: The warranty does not cover accidental damage, such as drops, impacts, spills, or any other incidents that occur outside of normal operating conditions. It is important to handle the products with care to prevent any accidental damage.
• Natural disasters or external events: Damages caused by natural disasters, fire, flood, lightning, power surges, or other external events are not covered by the warranty. These situations are beyond the control of the manufacturer and fall outside the scope of the warranty coverage.
• Normal wear and tear: The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear that occurs over time with regular use. Components that naturally degrade or wear out due to usage are not eligible for warranty claims.
• Compatibility issues: The warranty does not cover any compatibility issues arising from using our products with incompatible devices, software, or accessories. It is essential to ensure compatibility before making a purchase.
