Alpha Resources Borate Flux

Alpha Resources LLC, a leading manufacturer of consumables and reference materials, has introduced a new range of borate fluxes designed for sample preparation in XRF, ICP, and AA analysis. These fluxes optimize the solubility and fluidity of samples, enhancing dissolution rates, pouring efficiency, and minimizing sticking and bubble formation.

The new borate fluxes are available in both powder and bead forms. Customers can choose from two grades of purity: 99.98+% (pure) and 99.995+% (ultra-pure). The fluxes are also available with or without integrated non-wetting agents (NWAs), which can improve performance in specific applications.

Chemical composition options include:

• Lithium Metaborate with Lithium Bromide
• Lithium Metaborate with Lithium Iodide
• Lithium Metaborate with Lithium Tetraborate

• Non-hygroscopic and dust-free to ensure stable handling and storage
• Compatible with automated dispensing balances such as Malvern Panalytical’s LeDoser and LeDoser-12
