AMSBIO Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells

AMSBIO’s range of genetically engineered Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSCs) offers precise tools for drug discovery, toxicity screening, and cell therapy research. The iPSC lines are engineered with specific, quantifiable features:

  1. Cas9 Expression: These iPSCs are available in variants expressing Cas9 either constitutively or through doxycycline induction (tet-on system). This feature allows for targeted gene editing using CRISPR/Cas9 technology, enabling researchers to generate knockout, mutated, or knock-in cells with precision. Cas9 expression can be verified through standard molecular biology techniques such as Western blotting or qPCR.

  2. B2M Knockout iPSCs: This cell line has been engineered to lack the B2M gene, resulting in extremely low immunogenicity. This makes it a suitable model for allogeneic cell therapy research. The effectiveness of the B2M knockout can be confirmed using flow cytometry to assess the reduction in surface expression of HLA molecules.

  3. StemBright™ Reporter iPSCs: These iPSCs are designed with conditional reporter genes that are activated by transcription factors within specific cell signaling pathways. They also include constitutively expressed reporters such as luciferase or eGFP for real-time cell tracking. The functionality of these reporter genes can be validated through luminescence assays or fluorescence microscopy.
