OHAUS Guardian 5000TM Series Hotplate Stirrers

The OHAUS Guardian 5000™ Series Hotplate Stirrers are precision-engineered for demanding laboratory applications requiring consistent heating and stirring. These hotplate stirrers feature a maximum temperature capacity of 550°C and come in five models with three plate sizes (7" x 7", 10" x 10", and 5" x 7"). The devices offer a powerful stirring range of 60 to 1,600 RPM, providing versatile operation for different lab needs.

Key safety features include the SafetyHeat™ system, which prevents overheating by continuously monitoring the hotplate’s temperature. The SmartHeat™ system allows users to set maximum temperature limits, ensuring precise control over heating processes. Additionally, the Guardian 5000™ Series includes a Run Dry Protection system, which automatically shuts down the unit if it detects that the liquid sample has evaporated or the vessel is empty. This ensures protection of the equipment and sample materials.

The Guardian 5000™ Hotplate Stirrers offer three temperature control modes: fast heating for rapid processes, and two precise control modes designed to prevent overshoot, suitable for sensitive applications. The units feature a bright LCD screen with white characters, which provides clear visibility of all operating parameters, and knob buttons for intuitive adjustments.
